Assistant Manager – EHS (Environment, Health & Safety Function) : 3-5 years
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
in engineering or Safety / Fire –related with minimum 3 years relevant
experience or Masters in Science with minimum 3 years experience in the domain
of EHS
Job
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of
applicable EHS laws, regulations and EHS standards i.e. Regulatory compliances,
ISO 14001; OHSAS 18001, IS 14489 etc.To design, develop, upgrade and deliver
the training to personnel at Client’s site in areas of safety, including first
aid, CPR, Accident prevention and investigation, Emergency preparedness and
other matters related to implementing environment, health & safety
procedures.
EHS Inspections /
Audits at Client’s site to evaluate hazardous conditions and practices and work
with appropriate stakeholders to conduct Risk assessments, HAZOP, HIRA, JSA
etc. and develop hazard control practices and programs. Must be good in EHS
Audit report writing.
Team player to
work closely with Plant facilities team to develop site specific EHS Management
program, industrial hygiene, safety and fire/life safety improvements.
Maintaining relationship and rapport with potential/existing clients by
initiate technical discussions to identify and promote Northstar business leads
Developing Technical EHS Trainings, Audits or services quotes and proposals To
maintaining fruitful relationships with existing and new customers.

Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems In-depth knowledge of
the EHS industry The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Skill in
prioritizing and triaging obligations Attention to detail Excellent time
management and organisation.
