Do’s for the EOT Crane
- Ensure the battery healthiness of the crane remote.
- Use all necessary PPE’s while working on Crane.
- Do visual inspection of the crane rope & drum condition.
- Ensure that no other person should be travelling on the crane gangway.
- Ensure the status of load testing of the crane.
- Check all the operations of the crane & note down the abnormalities, if any.
- Ensure proper functioning of all the limit switches as per relevant operations.
- Check all the gearbox & oil conditions.
- Be in proper communication with the co-operating colleague.
- After completion of the work, ensure that the C-hook of crane should be at safe height compared to adjacent equipment's.
- Always keep the remote at its assigned place while crane handover.
Don’ts for the EOT Crane
- Don’t lift / lower the crane C-Hook beyond the set limit switch.
- Don’t operate the crane intermittently.
- Don’t operate the crane in Fast Mode at extreme LT & CT positions.
- Don’t guide / communicate with the crane operator while standing below the lifted load.
- Don’t touch the moving parts of crane unless the relevant power isolation is ensured.
