Required Manager / Sr. Manager - EHS for a renowned Cement Co.
A renowned multi unit Cement Company requires a Manager /
Sr. Manager - EHS for their Grinding unit in Sonapur ( near Guwahati, Assam ).
The candidate should be a Graduate / Post Graduate in
Environment Science with relevant qualification in Health & Safety measures
and having at least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing unit.
The job responsibilities will be as follows :
• Stack & Ambient air quality monitoring as per MoEF/Board requirement.
• Monitoring and control of EHS Parameters.
• To ensure the Safety & Environment as per Pollution
Control Board & Boilers & Factories norms.
• Established rapport with regulatory authorities like
ASPCB,CPCB, MoEF and Boilers &
Factories.
• Meet EHS Objectives and targets.
• Implementation of IMS.
• Co-ordination with all departments for smooth functioning.
• Preparation and submission of Pollution Control Board
& Boilers & Factories Reports.
• Testing of various parameters of water & waste water
(STP).
• Work environment & noise level monitoring.
• Filling the Hazardous Waste application and will be
responsible for obtaining the permission for Co-Generation from hazardous waste.
• Responsible for obtaining the authorization for Bio
medical waste.
• Co-ordinate with Environmental (ISO) Auditors.
• Environmental Clearance of New project/ Expansion of plant
capacity.
• Responsible for submitting the Water Cess before 5th of
every month.
• Accountable to Customer requirements if any.
• Lab. services to External and Internal Customers.
• Conducting Safety & Environment Audits.
• Investigation of accidents/near miss case and preventive
measures.
The remuneration will depend on the current CTC and merit of
the candidate.
However, for the right candidate, the gross annual CTC can
go up to Rs. 15 Lakhs plus other facilities.
