DESIGNATION : HSE Officer
REPORTING AUTHORITY : HSE Manager LOCATION : AGSI Plant, Abu
Dhabi
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to help to HSE Manager to implement, developing
and implementation of HSE Management System
Ensuring the quality and safety in the plant
Providing Employees / Visitors with AGSI HSE induction
Actively participate in Tool box talks and leading HSE
briefings / internal training sessions
Involve in preparation and implementation of emergency
response plans and mock drills
Coordinate and advise production team in order to avoid the
risk of occupational injuries, accidents, environmental incidents and property
damage
Monitoring of premises in order to ensure compliance with
HSEMS and Safe System of Works
Monitoring of employee’s compliance in following SOPs and
usage of PPEs
HSE inspection of lifting gears, fire fighting/detection
system, power-tools in periodic basis
Assist HSE Manager in the development and revision of HSE MS
Active involvement in the development of Risk Assessments
Periodic inspection of plant equipments, machineries and
vehicles
Inspection of workers welfare facilities at plant premises
Monitoring permit to work system
Preparation of near miss reports and accidents reports in
coordination with supervisors/HODs
Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly HSE reports
Active involvement in Incident/Accident investigations
Assist HSE Manager in preparation for HSE Audits from AD
EHSMS, HAAD, Zones Corp, FANR etc
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE
2-5 years experience as HSE Officer
QUALIFICATION
Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Health & Safety
NEBOSH IGC or IOSH MS certification
OSHAD HSE Practitioner License
Certification in Fire Fighting, First Aid, Permit to Work,
Confined Space Entry etc.
