Looking for dynamic candidate for the post of EHS (PL/ Executive)
Location: Erode-Tamilnadu
Desired Candidate Profile
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of EHS with Technical background (Diploma/Degree) or degree in Environment, should be experienced in handling Environment, Safety and Occupational Health function of a manufacturing unit.
· Knowledge of EHS requirements and standards.
· Proficient in the implementation and maintenance of EHS management system, OHSAS and EMS knowledge
· Manufacturing Industry experience is preferable
· Speaks Tamil.
· Computer literate with good communication skills.
Responsibility
· Responsible for implementing the Safety, Health and Environment Management programs in the plant.
· Working for the EHS improvements within the plant, Identifying, conceptualizing and implementing improvement projects related to EHS
· Should be able to apply proven methods to analyze Work, Handling & movements, Materials & Environment for identification of associated unsafe actions/conditions and to plan & implement the preventive measures.
· To carry out plant EHS inspections and audits
· To conduct accident investigation, identify the causes including the root cause and suggest the team and the management for the remedial measures and follow-up for implementing the recommendations
· Disseminate awareness on EHS among employees across the plant and play role as internal resource person for training all categories of employees on Environment, Health, Safety including Legal, statutory, Social, Group norms and national and international norms and Responsible for new induction training
· Conducting/coordinating monthly safety committee meeting, preparing and sending weekly/monthly report.
· Conducting/coordinating onsite mock drills.
· Handle Documentation & Compliance related to HSE.
